Sri Lanka. With the special training and experience he had obtained
in the field of Computing at Carlton University, Canada he has also
served as Director, Computer Education Unit of the National
Institute of Education, Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka for two
years. During this period he took the responsibility of steering the
Computer Education programme and of introducing ‘Computer Awareness’
to school children in Sri Lanka.
